Nancy Effert

With over 20 years of corporate experience focusing on actuarial and management consulting, Nancy brings her considerable knowledge of the financial services industry to her signature wealth management approach. Her straightforward style provides a holistic methodology which includes wealth planning, risk management, business services, investment services and financial planning. Her clients benefit from her wide array of expertise and solution-based approach.

Effert Financial Solutions was founded in 2006 as an alternative to the “big box” financial conglomerates who embrace a “one-size fits all” investment theory. Seeing the need for a more personal approach, she provides independent fee-based investment management and financial advice to individuals and their businesses. Anchored in active listening, understanding, trust and knowledge, she offers clients outstanding customer service and customized solutions based on each individual situation. Nancy’s fee-based practice enables her to offer a variety of services aimed to embrace all her client’s life goals, including family, business, health and retirement. Effert is honored to be a recipient of the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022 Five Star Wealth Management Award*.

Effert is as engaged in the community as she is with her clients.  She was honored as the Rotarian of the Year and was presented an award in recognition of outstanding dedication & service by The Rotary Club of Fox Valley Sunset for 2021-2022.   She is proactive in supporting non-profit and business leadership organizations as a volunteer, fundraiser and trailblazer. Author of several financial articles and publications, she speaks on various financial-focused topics. Her networking skills are legendary, as she consistently provides clients and colleagues with contacts and recommendations of quality resources.

Effert is an avid golfer and an active member of the MCSF Chicago Golf Committee who raise money annually for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation through their golf outing.  She is also a “gearhead” at heart who spent much of her youth working on hot rods and victoriously racing her vintage Chevy against unsuspecting challengers. In her spare time, she builds one-of-a-kind stained- glass pieces as a creative outlet.
